Dimensions : 56,5*30 mm (en excluant le bouton poussoir et l’anneau).

Cet exemplaire, de forme rectangulaire aux coins arrondis, s’ouvre et permet de placer des monnaies de diamètre 22,5 mm et 19 mm, soit une 20 francs or et une 10 francs or.

L’intérieur présente des emplacements argentés et guillochés formant un motif de rosace, le centre présente le monogramme HB. L’intérieur du couvercle présente le motif extérieur en négatif. On peut lire le poinçon HB et deux poinçons charançons sur les rebords des emplacements pour monnaies.

Sur l’anneau de suspensions, on retrouve divers poinçons dont le “HB”, le titrage à “800”, ce qui semble être une couronne (fabrication anglaise) et un petit garçon allongé. On retrouve également le poinçon “HB” sur le rebord extérieur du couvercle.

The HB hallmark and two weevil hallmarks are visible on the edges of the coin slots. The suspension ring bears various hallmarks, including \\\"HB,\\\" the \\\"800\\\" fineness mark, what appears to be a crown (English manufacture), and a reclining boy. The \\\"HB\\\" hallmark is also found on the outer edge of the lid.
