Exemplaire sur un flan large, centré. Joli buste ainsi qu’un revers agréable. Patine gris foncé

MAURICIUS TIBERIUS
(08/13/582-11/22/602)
Maurice succeeded his father-in-law Tiberius II. After great victories over the Sassanids, he suffered many setbacks in the Balkans and could not prevent the installation of the Slavs and Avars. A military plot overthrew him in 602. He was assassinated while trying to take refuge with Chosroes II.
