Jeton très étonnant par sa date qui le situe en pleine occupation espagnole. Le français était certainement utilisé à l'époque en réaction contre cette situation.

On some Tournai shields, we have the small Portuguese shield on the obverse and, on the reverse, we have a quartered Spanish shield: 1 counter-quartered from Castile and Leon, enté en pointe from Granada, 2 part from Aragon and from Sicily, over the whole of Portugal, to 3 from modern Austria supported by ancient Burgundy, to 4 from modern Burgundy supported by Brabant; over the whole of Flanders, part of Tyrol.
