(1st century AD)
Autonomous coinage
Æzani was located near the sources of the Rhyndacus in Phrygia Epictetus on the way from Sardis in Lydia to Dorylæum in Phrygia. Autonomous coinage would begin after 84 BC during the time of Sulla.
