Monnaie nettoyée. Ce type est appelé “aux deux crosses opposées” selon le Nouvel Atlas, série 1044 : l’une avec un aurige accroupis (comme notre exemplaire), l’autre avec une victoire très dégénérée.

These early coins originate from the confines of Berry and Touraine; often attributed to the Pictons or the Bituriges. If the typology does not make it possible to determine an attribution to such or such people, the distribution of the discoveries is hardly more precise and the conclusions of their metallic analysis are ultimately rather disappointing..
