Poids léger. Au revers, nous avons un rite de fondation lié à la création d’un camp légionnaire, formé de deux légions la cinquième macédonienne et la huitième augusta.

SYRIA - COELE-SYRIA - HELIOPOLIS (BAALBEK)
(3rd century AD)
Baalbek is a city located in the Beka Valley in present-day Lebanon at more than 1,100 meters above sea level. The city is famous for these temples of Roman times when the city bears the name of Heliopolis. It was one of the most important religious complexes of the ancient Roman world. Besides the imperial cult and the Capitoline triad with Jupiter, Venus and Bacchus local gods like Hadad, or Atargatis were venerated as well as a local god of Fertility.
