Lancé au début 2010, ‘America the beautiful’ est un programme de frappe de 56 monnaies commémoratives de 1/4 dollar illustrant les parcs nationaux et d’autres sites nationaux des États-Unis d’Amérique.
Le mémorial national du Mont Rushmore situé dans l'État du Dakota du Sud est une sculpture monumentale qui représente quatre des présidents les plus marquants de l'histoire américaine : George Washington (1732-1799), de Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), de Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) et d'Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865).
Sous la direction du sculpteur Gutzon Borglum, les travaux durèrent de 1927 à 1941

Launched in early 2010, 'America the Beautiful' is a program of 56 commemorative quarter dollar coins depicting the national parks and other national sites of the United States of America. The Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota is a monumental sculpture depicting four of the most significant presidents in American history: George Washington (1732-1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919), and Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865). Under the direction of sculptor Gutzon Borglum, construction lasted from 1927 to 1941.
