Lancé au début 2010, ‘America the beautiful’ est un programme de frappe de 56 monnaies commémoratives de 1/4 dollar illustrant les parcs nationaux et d’autres sites nationaux des États-Unis d’Amérique.
Le Parc National des Voyageurs a été fondé en 1975 dans le nord de l’état du Minnesota à frontière avec le Canada. Le nom Voyageurs fait référence aux employés franco-canadiens de compagnies qui partaient faire la traite des fourrures avec les Amérindiens.
Launched in early 2010, 'America the Beautiful' is a program of 56 commemorative quarter dollar coins depicting the national parks and other national sites of the United States of America. Voyageurs National Park was founded in 1975 in northern Minnesota on the border with Canada. The name Voyageurs refers to the French-Canadian employees of companies who went to trade furs with the Native Americans.
