Flan extrêmement large et complet des deux côtés. Très beau portrait idéalisé d'Alexandre. Exemplaire parfaitement centré au droit avec une magnifique patine de médaillier aux reflets dorés. Frappé avec un coin légèrement bouché au revers avec un petit plat dans la couronne

MACEDONIA - MACEDONIAN PROVINCE - THESSALONIKI
(168-49 BC)
After the capture of Perseus at Pydna in 168 BC by Paul-Émile, Greece was separated into four republics. Thessaloniki received its name in honor of Cassandra's wife in 315 BC. The city was the capital of the second republic. After Andriscus' revolt, Macedonia was heavily taxed and treated as a conquered province. Under the Empire, it became a senatorial province.
