Ce denier appartient à la classe F de la typologie d'Allen qu'il appelle "type scyphate de Picardie à l'animal dégénéré" ou à la classe 2 de S. Scheers, "les petites monnaies d'argent de Picardie". Dans le nouveau classement de J.-P. Delestrée et M. Tache, ce type se retrouve dans la série 31 B, "suite tardive des monnaies lamellaires en argent dérivées du type de Pallas", classe 1 à l'hippocampe. Au revers, les deux annelets sont en fait à associer au cordon perlé ; cet ensemble n'est qu'une stylisation de la victoire, imitée des drachmes d'Emporia (imitées entre autres à Bridiers ; cf. MONNAIES XV, n° 393 R/).
This denier belongs to class F of Allen's typology, which he calls \\\"Picardy scyphate type with degenerate animal\\\" or to class 2 of S. Scheers, \\\"small silver coins from Picardy\\\". In the new classification of J.-P. Delestrée and M. Tache, this type is found in series 31 B, \\\"late continuation of silver lamellar coins derived from the Pallas type\\\", class 1 with the seahorse. On the reverse, the two rings are in fact to be associated with the pearl cord; this set is only a stylization of victory, imitated from the drachmas of Emporia (imitated among others at Bridiers; cf. MONNAIES XV, n° 393 R/)
