This medal showing the supersonic aircraft represents the five continents with the five stars. The plane was planned in 1956, manufacturing launched in 1962. The first flight of the prototype took place in 1969. The plane was put into service from 1975 and linked Paris-Rio in 1976 and Paris-New York the next year. Its commercial exploitation will be sabotaged by the Americans.
