Exemplaire sur un flan épais et ovale, bien centré des deux côtés. Superbe portrait juvénile de Commode. Malgré une petite faiblesse de frappe, le revers reste dans un état hors du commun, de style très fin et servi par une extraordinaire patine vert foncé

Caesar
Commodus was born in the purple on August 31, 161. Son of Marcus Aurelius and young Faustina, his twin brother died very early, in 165 or 166.
