Monnaie frappée sur un flan un peu court mais régulier. Droit complet et revers légèrement décentré. Patine grise avec des zones sombres au revers

Cette monnaie provient de la collection de G. Savès

Аверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Аверс: описание: Tête à gauche avec la chevelure disposée sur deux rangs ; absence d’oreille ; cou nu et court.

Обратная сторона

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Реверс: Описание: Croix bouletée au centre, formée de quatre cantons, chacun ornés d’une lunule ; une oreille au 3e canton.

Комментарий

Cette drachme est issue des mêmes coins que la monnaie S. 318, mais est largement plus belle, tant par son centrage que par la qualité de frappe. G. Savès l'indique comme "rare ou assez rare" et il fut pourtant obligé d'illustrer son ouvrage avec la monnaie précitée en qualité moindre, provenant du musée de Perpignan.
On remarque un globule ou une cassure de coin (?) au niveau de la lunule du troisième canton.
This drachma comes from the same dies as the coin S. 318, but is much more beautiful, both in its centering and in the quality of the strike. G. Savès indicates it as \\\"rare or quite rare\\\" and yet he was obliged to illustrate his work with the aforementioned coin of lesser quality, coming from the museum of Perpignan. We note a globule or a die break (?) at the level of the lunule of the third canton
