Exemplaire sur flan large, ovale, parfaitement centré avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait. Joli revers de style fin. Patine grise de collection ancienne avec reflets dorés. A été nettoyé anciennement

Caesar
Salonin was raised to the cesarat after the death of his brother, Valérien II. Sent to Gaul, under the protection of Postumus then simple general, he was proclaimed august after the capture of Valerian I in June or July 260. Postumus, proclaimed august in his turn, besieged Salonin and had him put to death.
